St. George’s Cathedral freetown

Constructed in 1828, during the British colonial rule of Sierra Leone, this church is still in use by locals today and welcomes visitors for Mass. If you choose to attend, you can view the exquisite stained glass windows over the altar and you may even get to hear a performance by the choir. Note that there is a dress code, as this is a religious center. Be sure to do your research and make sure that you are clothed appropriately.
